Glengarry Community Development Trust is growing our team as we prepare to open our forest cabin business.
We are currently recruiting for three key roles:

Accommodation Manager

Builder and Facilities Manager
-
Finance Manager.
These positions are central to the success of the cabin business and offer a professional way to support the Trust.
The closing date for applications is 5pm on Wednesday 8th April, with interviews scheduled for the week beginning 13th April.

About us
Glengarry Community Development Trust is a community-led charity that manages land for the benefit of local people and visitors. The organisation works on a range of projects that are all designed to address local needs and which deliver the Glengarry Community Action Plan (2025-30).

Unplug & Reconnect
In 2023 we began constructing six off-grid forest cabins to create sustainable income to support the Development Trust’s community and environmental objectives. We have now reached the exciting stage of opening the business, scheduled for spring 2026.
The Cabins will provide off-grid tourist accommodation in bespoke cabins which have been built using timber from larch trees cleared from the site. Removing this larch is a first step towards restoring areas of native woodland in the community forest.
